Iraqi Kurdistan
The Kurdish region spreads over four countries in the Middle East: Syria, Iran, Iraq, and Turkey. With its mountainous landscapes and colorful culture, it’s one of the most interesting regions in the world to explore. Kurdistan never became one nation, but they have always held tight to their traditions. Besides the Kurdisch, you can also find the endangered religion of the Yazidis in Iraqi Kurdistan, which is a whole different religion and probably one of the most unique in the world.
